Ann Lynda Willson

Ann Lynda Willson passed away peacefully at home in Middle Sackville on March 8, 2026. Born on June 13, 1948, in Epsom, Surrey County, England, Ann later became a proud Canadian citizen on June 5, 1962. She was predeceased by her father, David William Willson, and her mother, Jean Edwina (Cockett) Willson.

Ann was employed at Dartmouth Dodge, where she demonstrated confidence and leadership in a traditionally male-dominated environment, and later at the Staples Call Centre, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Standing at just five feet tall, Ann was truly small but mighty. She had a playful sense of humour, a hearty laugh, and a straightforward manner of speaking, paired with a vibrant personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was caring, generous, and fiercely loyal to her chosen family. Ann loved gathering for holidays—or any occasion—and brought warmth and energy to every get-together.

She had a special love for animals, especially cats and dogs, and took great delight in her impressive collection of hummingbird décor. Ann also enjoyed crafting, expressing her creativity in countless ways. She will be fondly remembered for her signature “comfy-chic” style, often seen wearing hoop earrings and white Crocs. Never one to hold back, she spoke her mind freely and was just as quick to acknowledge when she may have overstepped.

Ann will be deeply missed by her friends and neighbours, who cherished her spirit, honesty, and warmth. In memory of Ann, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada through their website at diabetes.ca.
