Obituary of Beverly Doreen Williams

Beverly Doreen Williams, 84 of Mount Uniacke, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at the Dartmouth General Hospital on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Born in Port Hawkesbury, NS, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Tena (Morrison) Williams. 

Beverly was a retired teacher, with over 30 years of service. After retirement, she started a second career as a pet groomer, which lasted another 20 years. Family and friends will remember Beverly as someone who had great concern for the welfare of animals and spent many years dedicated to the cause. She also loved to work outside and tend to her yard and garden.

Beverly will be sadly missed by family and friends that often came to her for advice on just about any topic. Sometimes getting advice without even asking for it. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Tena; stepmother, Charlotte; brothers, Harold (Irene), Earl (Evelyn) and Robert (Vivian).

In keeping with Beverly’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation or service. Interment will be held at a later date in Southbrook Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury.
