Obituary of Angela Marie Baker
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Angela Marie Baker (Campbell), a devoted mother, beloved daughter, sister, and cherished friend, who left us far too soon. Angela passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those she held dear.
Angela's greatest joy in life was being the proud and loving mother of her 17-year-old son, Jacob Baker, who was truly the light of her life. She shared countless adventures with Jacob — from spontaneous day trips to peaceful camping getaways — always treasuring those moments of togetherness. Her love and pride for her son were unmatched; she never missed a chance to speak of his accomplishments and the special bond they shared.
Born to Linda Auclair (partner Herve Melancon) and Ken Campbell (wife Karen Campbell), Angela carried her compassionate spirit into every aspect of her life. She shared strong bonds with her siblings: Cindy Comeau, Suzanne Auclair (Calvin Maloney), Daniel Auclair (Risa Koike Auclair), Kyle Campbell (Madelayne DeGrace), and Kristopher Campbell.
Angela had a joyful soul and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. She found happiness in crafting, playing darts, attending bingo with her mom, and filling every room with laughter among family and friends. Her vibrant spirit and warm heart drew people to her, and she gave so much of herself to others without hesitation.
For 35 years, Angela worked with dedication and compassion at Regional Residential Services Society, forming lasting friendships and positively impacting countless lives. Her genuine care for others was evident in everything she did, both personally and professionally.
Angela's presence was a gift — her kindness, her sense of humor, and her deep love for those around her will be forever remembered and sorely missed.
A celebration of Angela’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 21st from 1 to 4pm at the Sackville Legion. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider honoring Angela by making a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Please share a laugh, show kindness to someone in need, or take a moment to appreciate the time spent with loved ones — just as Angela always did.
She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
