Obituary of Louise Frances Wamback

Wamback (née Schultz), Louise Frances, 72, of Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Born in Lower Sackville, she was the beloved third daughter of Irving and Laura (née Smeltzer) Schultz. Louise is survived by her son Adam, her granddaughter Eva, her sister Marilyn Hurst (Laurie Hubley) and her former husband Wayne. Along with her mother and father, she was predeceased by her sisters Janice Keating and Brenda Schultz. Louise will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Her early years were spent playing high school sports and enjoying her many friends at the lake and family cottage. Upon high school graduation, she joined the Royal Bank in Bedford and served many clients throughout Dartmouth and Halifax until retirement. Louise devoted her working years to her son and his activities. She continued enjoying time at the cottage with her mother during many summers in Stillwater, Guysborough County, NS. Louise had many loyal friends and neighbours.

Thank you to the kind and caring staff at the Cobequid Health Center, the QEII Halifax Infirmary, the VON over the years, and her family doctor, Dr. MacDonald.

Louise's wishes are to be laid to rest with her mom, dad and Brenda at Pleasant Hills Cemetery in Lower Sackville. Burial and reception will be at a later date.
