Obituary of Sean Patrick Murphy

45, of Mount Uniacke, NS, died unexpectedly on Oct 27, 2025 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. His loss was completely unforeseen, and his family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Sean Patrick Murphy was born on February 6,1980 in Halifax, NS to David and Martina Murphy. He graduated from Windsor High School and went on to study at Dalhousie University and obtained an Engineering degree. He worked his entire life as a dedicated entrepreneur building up landscaping and rental property businesses. Anyone who knew Sean knew that he was kind, loving, funny, caring and positive. He had an immense passion for travel and sailing. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say. 

Sean is survived by his loving wife, Sirlenis; children, Rachel and Daniel; step daughter, Angie; parents, David and Martina; brother, Ryan and wife Janna. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Joseph and Lillian Murphy and grandmother, Eileen Symes-Maguire as well as by several uncles and aunts.

A Service and Celebration of Sean's life will be held at the Mic Mac Aquatic Club. November 13th. The service will be held from 2:30pm -3:00pm, with a celebration of life following until 6pm.
