Obituary of Harvey Thomas Hudson

Harvey Thomas Hudson, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, in Halifax, NS, at the age of 87. Born on April 13, 1938, in the quaint town of Port Royal, NS, He was a son of the late Herbert and Lena Hudson. 

He is survived by his wife of many years, Johanna "Gerda" Hudson, his sons, Micheal and Darrell (Yvonne), and their families; sister, Audrey and family. He was predeceased by his brother, A. Sherman Hudson, and his granddaughter, Danielle. 

As per Harvey's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no service, honoring his request for simplicity and privacy. A private burial will be held in the spring at the Grace United Church Cemetery in Walton, NS, where Harvey will be laid to rest in the community that he held dear.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Moody Hall for the compassionate care provided to Harvey in his final days. His memory will be cherished, and his presence deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
