I first met Bill in about 2013 in a conference in Arizona, where he was doing some of his payroll work. We had a great chat. Since I was one of the few Brits and he was one of the few Canadians and everyone else was American, we sort of got along despite our 40 year age gap. I didn't think too much about it until I bumped into him again about 5 or 6 years later in the same conference. I said something along the lines of, Wow Bill, what are you still doing coming to these? And frankly put, he said he was looking for an exit to the EOR business. And I was glad to be able to talk to him about that and spend more time rekindling that relationship. I also met his wonderful daughter, Natasha. We had a great evening out with a wall of beer, a live band and BBQ food as part of the conference. I've still got some lovely pictures from that event. I think Bill leaves a great legacy, certainly in business, but more importantly in his family and the community. May you rest in peace Bill.

Bill was loved by myself, my husband and our dog Agnes, to who he was known as Uncle Bill.
We bought our house and property from Bill who turned out to be a great friend and one of the best neighbours anyone could ask for. We will miss him terribly. Our hearts are heavy but our memories of Bill will live on. Rest In Peace my friend!

I met Bill just once nearly 30 years ago when Natasha invited me to stay overnight at her home in Langley. Bill and Camilla were both so warm and welcoming. Bill knew from Natasha I was curious to see his cows and he happily made time to show them off after supper. I am so sorry for your loss, he was a wonderful person whose kindness still makes an impression on me many years later.
