I remember Michael from school days in Rockingham elementary grade 5 & 6, Clayton Park Junior High & Halifax West High schools. Remembering his smile, laughter and friendly personally.. Your family lived a few houses up from our house in Bridgeview Rockingham, on Meadolark Crescent. I remember when your family moved into the neighborhood. My sister Dalene, brother Eric and myself Sharlene were horsing around in the front yard on the grass, playing tag or some kind of game. This was the first time we met Michael who was standing on the side of the road watching us. I remember he came over and said can I play too. Then the next time I saw Michael again he was in my grade 5 class. I think I had a crush on him, but never told him. I remember when my Dad Wilfred Yurgensen coming home from work he would stop to give your Dad a lift up the long Bridgview road and drop him off just before turning into our driveway. It's amazing what memories stand out in our minds from days gone by. From time to time when looking back on school days I often wondered where Michael and your family were. I have searched from time to time on facebook, Classmate for Michael but with no results. Unfortunately this time my search came up with Michael's obituary.
