Obituary of Pat "Murph" Gardiner

62, Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Harold and Edith (Topple) Gardiner.

Murph enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends at their camps, travelling to Florida to spend time with a friend and loved the company and time spent with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Murph is survived by his siblings, Debbie (Steven) Foran, Darlene (Gerry) Douglas, Harley Gardiner (Fronie Hibbs-Gardiner) and his twin sister, Patty (Howie) MacKenzie; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Brenda Davis and brother in-law, Bernie Davis.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Maritime Cremation Centre, 67 Temple Terrace, Lower Sackville, where a celebration of Murph’s life will take place on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 6pm – 9pm. Donations in his memory may be made to the Lung Association.
