Obituary of Jean Audrey Barnett

Age 88, Lower Sackville, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2022 in the palliative care unit of the QEII VG Site.

She rejoins her loving husband of 69 years, Jim. Retired from Guardian Insurance after 20+ years, she enjoyed getting together with her family, especially during Christmas time while singing Patsy Cline  and Elvis. Jean also enjoyed going to Dooly’s and trying her luck on the slot machines.

Survived by 5 children, Barbara (Steven), Tony (Liz), Brenda (Stanley, deceased), Dick (Jennifer) and Chris (Shantel); 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who all enjoyed her funny stories and sense of humour.

Predeceased by parents, Fred and Deliah Slaunwhite from Terrance Bay; sisters, Millie, Vivian, Ruby and brother Gary.

As per her wishes, there will be no service.
