Obituary of Tren Aaron Godard

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my father, Tren Godard, age 58, on April 12, 2023. After 3 long years, he unfortunately lost his battle with cancer.

My dad was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario on September 24th, 1964 to Karen and André. He was predeceased by his mother, Karen Evans (2014), his father, André Godard (1984), and his sister, Alison Recoskie (Feb 2023).

My dad has left me to mourn as his only daughter, Kelly Godard, as well as, his companion, Barbara Ashton, her sons, (Dylan, Dustin, and Jay), nephew, Jeremy Recoskie (Ontario), brother-in-law, Jim Recoskie (Ontario), half-brother, Ron Ellery(B.C.), many cousins and extended family around the globe on the Godard and Evans’ sides. 

A Celebration of life and burial has been scheduled for Friday, September 1st at 11am, at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls, Ontario. All are welcome who wish to attend. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the SPCA.
