My brother Donnie was a genuine man, he was kind, passionate and had a great sense of humour. I was a child when he left home to begin his career in the RCAF. I will always cherish that while away he made time to write letters to a little sister that missed him. I fondly remember when he first met Diane, he adored her from that moment on. Carol and Derek and their families were truly everything to him. I treasure our conversations and all the times my Mom and brothers and our families got together. It was always a party, a time to be in the moment, to catch up and so many laughs.
Donnie, you will always live on in my heart. Love you, Debbie

To my brother Don,
We share a connection only brothers can understand. Our shared love of sports, comedy movies, and childhood stories of your adventures with Gord were amongst our conversations that kept us laughing late into the evening. I have the unique privilege of being a small part of the lives of the people you are most proud: Diane, Carol, Derek, Carter and Julia. Your face lit up every time you spoke their names.
Love and Laughter,
Fred

My heart goes out to the family for the sudden loss of their father, husband, and brother. I have always enjoyed my talks with Donnie over the years. He was such a genuine person and spoke his mind, a trait I truly appreciated. Although less vocal than his brothers, Donnie had that wonderful Harvey sense of humour and a quiet wit that kept me laughing through many a family function. He will be missed.

Sharing in your sadness and keeping all the Harvey families in my thoughts at difficult time.
Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs and hope you feel surrounded by much love.
I only met Donnie a hand full of times, however, I spent a lot of time with his Mom, Joyce - I do know from all of the stories she shared and going through her precious family photo albums many times - that she felt extremely proud of her family and had so much pride in Donnie and his family and in his service with the Royal Canadian Arm Forces.
Folks can be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
May Donnie's memory bring you comfort in the times ahead as those memories become your treasures❣️
Sincerely,
Connie Doucette

We are shocked and saddened to learn of Don's passing. From the many AHL games at the Metro Centre thru many rounds of golf, we always looked forward to our times together. Our teams rarely won, the golf games were sometimes good, some not so much. It was just great to get out together. Though we lost touch over the last few years, Deb and I will always have our memories of our times together. Rest peacefully old buddy, we will never forget you.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Donald Harvey. I drove for Satellite Taxi and had the pleasure of driving Donald and Diane many times, usually from the Superstore in Bedford to home. He was so generous and kind. I enjoyed talking hockey and his beloved Bruins. I am in the Philippines and won't make the service. Andrew Macdonald.
