Obituary of Garry Edward Reynolds

Garry Edward Reynolds, CPO1, MMM, CD, 67, of Fall River, Nova Scotia, left us peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 18. A loved husband, father and grandfather, Garry will always be remembered for his many years of service to his family and country. 

Born on May 24, 1957, in Amherst Nova Scotia. Garry grew up the son of Wesley and Muriel (Wiles) Reynolds and siblings Brian, David, Pamela and Terry. Garry joined the Canadian Armed Forces, Royal Canadian Navy in Halifax, NS, as a Boatswain in 1977. He served for 29 years retiring in 2006 with the rank of Chief Petty Officer 1st Class. On October 21, 1989 Garry married the love of his life Louise (Mone), growing a family in Esquimalt, British Columbia, until 2006 when they moved back to Nova Scotia.   

Garry is survived by Louise and his daughters, Genevieve and Rebeccah (Adopted) and his grandson, Kole . He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy.

A service to celebrate Garry’s life with be held at Full Gospel Church (2256 Larry Uteck, Bedford, NS) on 29 Nov 2024 at 1130 am, All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
