Obituary of Mary Adrianne Goode

We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Mary “Adrianne” Goode on December 23rd, 2024, at the QEII VG site, Halifax. She peacefully passed at the age of 85, surrounded by family, holding her beloved daughter’s hand.

Adrianne is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James Goode, daughter, Jane Goode, son-in-law, Admir Krivdic and grandson, Logan Krivdic. She is pre-decreased by her precious first daughter, Tracey Ann (1970-1973).

Born and raised in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, she met her husband, Jim, while camping with friends on the north shore, later marrying him in Charlottetown in April, 1967 and eventually settling in Beaverbank, NS, where they lived for 15 years, followed by 13 years in Lower Sackville and finally, the past 20 years in Lewis Lake, just outside Tantallon, NS.

Adrianne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Through the years, she worked outside of the home, the majority as a legal secretary with which she found great satisfaction. As well, she was a doting caregiver, filling her home with love. There was never a doubt that her family was her pride and joy as she would tell anyone who would listen. And her close friendships were a cherished part of her life. She never forgot “her island”, visiting often and remaining connected with extended family and childhood friends. Adrianne will be missed beyond words.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 from 1-3pm at Maritime Cremation Centre, 67 Temple Terrace, Lower Sackville, NS. Please feel welcome to join us as we remember Adrianne for the bright light she was. In lieu of flowers, donations in Adrianne's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
