My dear Aunt Pearl, a true spit fire of a woman, you were the light for all to see.
Your smile, your laugh, your little jokes and poking the bear (Uncle Bob), will stay with me forever. You are now back in the loving arms of your sweetheart. As much as I wish you were both still here, I hope you are having a nice tall glass of homemade wine up there, smiling down on all that you created.
Leslie (Troy), James and family, I am so very sorry for the loss of your wonderful mom. You guys brought so much joy to her life, took such good care of her, I know she was grateful for it all.
Rest in peace now Aunt Pearl. I love you, always and forever. xoxox

Many years ago, Pearl and I worked together at OB Allen jewellers. I am saddened to learn of your loss and pray that your memories of your Mom will carry you through the coming days and weeks. She was always very proud of your achievements.

Firstly, condolences to the family from both Wayne and myself. The world lost a good one.
Lovely inside and out, Pearl will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to call her friend. As sister red hatters (HRM Ruby Relics) we enjoyed many good times together, travelling to many a “hoot” far and wide. As much as we both enjoyed the silly stuff, we also bonded over the serious.
Among my many memories, I think my late sister, Dianne, said it best when she presented Pearl (aka Lady Lizzie) with her “Ruby Award” at the 2011 Red Hat Oscars. Pearl received the award for “Most Bejeweled Hatter in a Red Hat Supporting Member Role”. Lady Di complimented her on her exquisite collection of red and purple jewels, then ended her speech with the words that she was a “true gem”. So appropriate!
RIP my friend.
