So sorry too hear of John’s passing, thinking of all of you at this difficult time. We could always tell when John was up too the cabin in Gardner Creek, we could hear the John Deere going around the big field all weekend long, he worked away at it and got it all finished before he went home.

To the family of John, my condolences on his passing. We were friends back in our teenage years and he was always fun to be around, and from what I have read from his co-workers it does not sound like he changed much over the years. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.

We would like to send our condolences to John’s family and our Velda. We wish we could be there for all of you. Although we did not get to know John very well we know he is a kind, loving, supportive and humorous man who loved Velda and our family so much. Our most recent memory was from Christmas 2019 when John drove Velda to the island so she could spend time with her sister Barbara for her last Christmas with us. It meant the world to us and we will always be grateful for that time together.
Sending all our love from afar,
Ray, Rachel abs family and Chris abs family xoxo

Sending my condolences to all of John's family. It was a pleasure and a lot of fun working with John Patrick Wallace. Travelleed a lot of laughter filled miles picking up cars and delivering cars for Manheim Auctions. An unforgettable personality that left a lasting impression whereever he went. He left Saint John but it was always where he called home. We tormented each other and laughed a lot. I will have a Snickers Bar and aPal-O-Mine bar in your honour. Your favourite lunch with a coke. He was small in stature but had a big heart. I am going to miss you Johnny boy.

John and I had a special friendship and no matter when we talked it was always like it was just yesterday...we laughed, we cried, we always ended with I miss you and I love you and I will treasure all the fun and great times we had. My deepest condolences to all - he truly will be missed and a shining star in heaven!

I 1st met John 14 years ago, when he joined the part timers crew at the auction. We were the newbies, usually shuffled to the back of the bus, and we took and gave a lot of torment! We had a lot of great trips together over the years, and I heard an awful lot of stories about Cynthia, Jennifer and Ian, though never had the pleasure to meet any of them.
My heartfelt condolences go out to them and Velda. John was a larger than life personality and he'll be greatly missed by his friends from Manheim. We still refer to one van as 'Johnnie's van' and will have to include some commmemorative glossettes and a bottle of Coke in it <3 I hope these photos bring a smile, they still do for me.
