Dear Bonnie, Tammy and families,
What a great picture and obituary that capture Anita's personality so well. You are much in our thoughts at this sad time. Anita was a wonderful neighbour for close to 30 years. She was one of a kind. We will miss her presence., especially during the gardening season. Her green thumb was second to none.

To Tammy, Bonnie and Families,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Anita. She was a great neighbour for the 20 years we lived next door to her. She was always happy to drop in for a cup of tea and discuss a wide range of subjects--most of which she had very strong opinions about.
She was a strong woman who fiercely defended her independence for as long as she could.
We will miss her.

Dear Tammy, Bonnie, Sharon, grandchildren and great grandchildren, A special light has gone out, but will not be forgotten. Anita was a very dear friend and a wonderful person, with a heart of gold. She was not just good at everything she did, she was talented beyond words. She had unequalled determination and a strong work ethic, and never shied away from any task. I was proud to be her friend, loved her unique sense of humour, her many stories, her immense creativity, and her style, We had lots of adventures and good times with our "crew" and plenty of laughs, and I truly treasure the memories we made. As you know, her family meant everything to her, and she loved every one of you fiercely. She made a mark in this world, We will all miss her, Her legacy lives on in each of you, her beautiful family. Please accept our sincere condolences.
Love, Margo & Robert

Your words captured "Aunt Neet" perfectly, and what a beautiful picture of her. Her family was everything to her. She knew how lucky she was, and spoke of it often. We will miss her dearly. May she rest in peace.

Bon & Tammy,
What a lovely tribute to "Aunt Neet". She possessed all of those qualities and talents, and so many, many more. She had a wicked sense of humour and was always up for an adventure.
My favourite memory of Aunt Neet was when we drove from Halifax to Toronto the week before Christmas to surprise you and Ron. We laughed so much during the trip and on our arrival. She had made a Mrs. Claus outfit for herself and an elf one for me. We stopped at a Beer Store parking lot in the dark to change into our outfits and made our way to ring your doorbell with neighbours watching nervously from their porches. The looks on your faces were priceless - a mix of horror (Ron), shock and joy - we crashed your tree trimming party with Ron's "fancy relatives". Hilarious! A favourite Christmas for sure.
See you soon. Peggy
