My sincerest condolences go out to Gord’s wife Elaine (my mom), his children, grandchildren and siblings for their loss. Gord was always smiling, kind, pleasant and unfailingly polite even during those very difficult last years while my mom cared for him at home. I know he will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and love at this time of sorrow.

Our Condolences to Elaine and her family also.
We all have such happy memories of fun times together, at Country music dances, square dancing, our special suppers together enjoying good food, bluegrass festivals, and so much more.
Elaine you both had such a wonderful life together, your love for each other is endless.
May your memories give you comfort at this difficult time.
With love from
Carol and Gerry Watt

Our sincere condolences to Elaine, and the Giffin family. Gord was a lovely man, kind, generous and giving. We have great memories of hot, summer days at the cottage ( trying to learn how to water ski) , boat trips around the Halifax waterfront, family barbeques at his home on Shore Drive and relaxing days spent at Ponhook Lake. Gord’s hospitality was endless and he welcomed us with open arms. So very sorry for your loss….he will be missed.
