I had the pleasure of driving Ella Mae to and from DASC for many years, she always had a "hello" and a big smile for me. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family & friends.

I had the honour of driving Ms Ella-Mae to and from DASC. She was sweet and always happy. I’m going to miss seeing her and talking to her about her day.

Ella-Mae was my brother Chris’s true love. She and Chris were devoted to one another and it was evident in many ways. One day we were all in the car and my husband Art was driving. Ella was telling Chris how handsome he was and of course Chris in his oh so humble way was agreeing with her. I piped in and said to Ella “Art his handsome too isn’t he?” Ella was quiet for a moment and said “No, only Chris is handsome.” Well, Chris was very pleased! Chis liked gritting one up on his sister, I tried to be gracious about it.
Ella, you were a beautiful, gentle woman. I am envisioning you now dancing with Chris in heaven.

Dear sweet Ella, you truly will be missed. You were one of a kind, right from the first day I met you. I had the privilege of working side by side with you for many years at DASC and there was never a dull moment. You always started our day with a cheerful greeting and sharing your evening adventures from home. I will cherish your thoughtful written messages to myself and my children before they were born. Keep smiling, enjoying all the treats and most of all, dancing in the skies with Chris. Condolences to your family and sending all the hugs to them as well. Rest easy Ella. -Susan

Im so deeply sorry for your loss Shirley and Family. Ella was a Sister to me, i loved her so much, im glad i was there for Shirley and the Family with her to the end. She was so full of life and anyone she encountered in her life she loved dearly. I will miss her smiling face, her jokes, her hugs, our talks, and how excited she was when she seen me come up to visit. Ella-Mae was by far the most amazing soul I have ever met, she never failed to put a smile on my face, or make me laugh. She was also the most loving, caring, honest person I have known, I will be forever grateful to cherish all of the memories we all made with her. There is no doubt in my mind that she is up there dancing with her loving partner, and friend Chris. May she rest in peace she will be forever missed and never forgotten.

When I first met Ella she was very fond of the princess Snow White; I remember her almost every night going to her room and watching the movie over and over.
I will never forget how her eyes lit up with a gave her a porcelain Snow White statue.
She brought light and laughter to so many; my heart is with the Family at this time.
