Obituary of William Francis Pynn

William “Bill” Francis Pynn. Born June 4, 1934, Bill passed away peacefully on October 26, 2023 at Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 89.

Bill is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 33 years, Dorothy; his children, Bernice Serson, William Jr (Carla), Paul (Loletta), Philip (Leslie), Gregory (Maxine); his grandchildren, Malorie, Melissa, Alyssa, Billy, Jason, Shannon, Jeremy, Jessie, Leah, Natasha, Jonah, William “Billy” and Jamie, as well as several great grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his son, James “Jimmy” Serson.

Bill was a Veteran, having served his country in the Army. After his time in the Army, Bill spent 35 years with Canada Post where he worked a number of positions before retiring as Superintendent. After retirement Bill loved to spend his time golfing in Chester and curling. Bill loved sports, he was a true fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs – hardly ever missing a game. 

Bills wife, Dorothy, would like to personally thank the staff at Camp Hill Hospital with a special recognition for Susan Kelly and Robert Jack who went above and beyond for Bill.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Maritime Cremation Centre.
